VISION

The discipline called Industrial Design refers to the process of designing products that are planned to be produced in an industrial style, taking into account the factors of function, form and meaning. Due to the fact that it is a part of the production and consumption fiction of the current age, it requires learning and applying design standards, as well as creativity, different thinking, attention to details, etc. It is a profession that requires skills.

Akdeniz University, Faculty of Architecture, Department of Industrial Design is a department that is still in the formation stage, which is expected to start education and training when the necessary conditions are met. The main vision of our department is to provide an education that allows students to use their creativity, has knowledge and experience about the historical and intellectual adventure of today's design world, can use technology in a questioning manner and effectively, and encourages student mobility and exchange programs.
